Additional tips and tricks for treating your Beretta 92fs safely.

Additional tips and tricks for treating your Beretta 92fs safely.

We’re all gun enthusiasts here, right? And we know that having a gun is no small responsibility. We need to be safe with it, otherwise we could lose our rights to carry a gun or worse, severely hurt someone, or even cause death. So here are some helpful tips and hints to guide you with gun safety.
Always know what your target is and what is beyond it. Be absolutely sure you have identified your target beyond any doubt because perhaps you think that old canteen is a fun thing to shoot at, but perhaps it’s actually a propane tank or in front of gas main line and you’ll end up causing a devastating explosion. If people are camping beyond your target area, there’s a good chance you could hit them. Just think about it – use common sense.
Know how to use your gun safely. Before handling a gun, study up on how it works, making sure you understand the basic parts of a Beretta 9mm versus a Ruger something or other. Also know how to safely open and close the action and remove any ammunition from the gun or magazine. Remember, a gun’s mechanical safety device isn’t foolproof.

BE SURE THE GUN IS PERFECTLY SAFE TO OPERATE. SOME GUNS, LIKE THE BERETTA 92FS, ARE SAFER THAN OTHERS. BUT ALL HAVE THE SAME POTENTIAL OF HARM. MAKE SURE YOUR GUN IS REGULARLY MAINTAINED WITH REGULAR CLEANING AND PROPER STORAGE.

Nothing can replace safe gun handling.
