Beretta Pistols – Guns and the City
If you’ve ever read or heard the story of the country mouse and the city mouse, you know there’s a big distinction in the viewpoints of rural versus urban folks. That’s true, even today, but one thing that crosses that divide is guns. In smaller, Podunk towns where crime is nearly non-existent, nearly everyone has a gun. Perhaps that’s a determining factor in crime rates – also because people watch each other’s backs there.
But in the city, that’s not as easy. First of all, there’s more crime, partially because there’s a greater chance for criminals to get away with the dirty deed and secondly because tighter demographics breed hardship, so criminals are forced to turn to crime just to make ends meet. Furthermore, people are not as well armed as everything is condensed and people feel uncomfortable around weapons. They think that’s a job for the police to handle. But when seconds count, the police take minutes.
