Shooting ranges and what you leave behind when using Beretta pistols

Beretta pistols - Shooting ranges and what you leave behind

So maybe you’re the latest hot shot down at the shooting range and you could shoot the ash off a German general’s cigarette. But if you come and go, leaving behind a wake of destruction that doesn’t apply to your targets, people will more likely remember you for your rudeness than your skill with Beretta pistols. So here’s a few ideas to keep your experience at the local shooting range fun and friendly.

CLEAN UP WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED. DON’T LEAVE A TRASHY SHOOTING STATION FOR THE NEXT SHOOTER. THROW AWAY ANY BERETTA PISTOLS AMMUNITION PACKAGES, OLD TARGETS, AND OTHER TRASH THAT YOU HAVE GENERATED DURING YOUR SHOOTING SESSION. AT MOST RANGES, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO GRAB A BROOM AND DUSTPAN, JUST LIKE YOUR OWN MAID, AND QUICKLY SWEEP UP THE USED SHELL CASINGS ALSO KNOWN AS “BRASS” AROUND YOUR AREA. SOME RANGES PROVIDE A RECYCLING BUCKET FOR THE SHELL CASINGS. OTHER RANGES JUST WANT YOU TO SWEEP THE BRASS FORWARD OF THE FIRING LINE SO THAT IT WON’T POSE A SLIP AND FALL HAZARD TO OTHER SHOOTERS. RANGE PERSONNEL WILL COLLECT THE BRASS AT THE END OF THE DAY, EITHER TO REMAKE THE BULLETS OR RECYCLE THEM INTO ALUMINUM CANS. FINALLY, WHEN EVERYONE OBEYS THE BASIC RULES OF RANGE ETIQUETTE AND COMMON DECENCY, SHOOTING AT THE LOCAL COMMUNITY RANGE IS A LOT MORE FUN. YOU’LL BE REMEMBERED FOR YOUR BERETTA 92FS AND HOW KIND AND CONSIDERATE YOU ARE WHEN YOU USED IT TO BLOW THE BEST HOLES INTO LITTLE TARGETS. THAT’S A LEGACY ANYONE CAN LEAVE.
