The power of the Beretta CX4 Storm
Beretta CX4 Storm looks can be deceiving, as has been said ad nauseum. Due to its look, many shortsighted people mistakenly believe the Beretta CX4 Storm 3600 is an assault rifle. Hayder Khadim, a victim of the infamous Dawson College shooting (a Beretta CX4 Storm was the primary weapon used by insane and atypical shooter Kimveer Gill), labeled it a “war weapon” and a “military assault rifle” when advocating for its banning in Canada. While the Beretta CX4 Storm is classified as “restricted”, actual assault rifles are “prohibited” under Canada’s Criminal Code.
Freedom ringing in America with the Beretta CX4 Storm.
At least there’s still freedom ringing in America, however, right? For people who actually love and understand guns, especially Beretta firearms, the Beretta CX4 Storm is an ideal choice for sporting, personal defense and law enforcement.
First of all, this firearm was ingeniously designed to be very adaptable to customization. Seven different models accept full-size Beretta magazines from the 92/96, Cougar, and Px4 series pistols in 9×21 IMI (its original caliber), 9x19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W and .45 ACP.
By pushing in the sling button and pulling the rail out by a thumb tab, the Beretta CX4 Storm includes a Picatinny rail that can be extended under the barrel . Each Storm also includes a side rail with two mounting screws, from the manufacturer, a second can be purchased along with a bottom rail. The very contoured bottom rail is designed to attach under the two side rails. A heavy top rail can also be purchased and installed with a tool included with the carbine. Three screws and nuts attach it to the top of the Beretta CX4 Storm carbine using a pre-drilled hole, allowing the user to use the rail as a template to tap two other holes hidden under a thin membrane of plastic. A maximum of five Picatinny rails can be utilized using Beretta CX4 Storm accessory kits, or the user can use the two present at purchase to attach a number of optics, grips, lights, lasers, bipods etc.
Because it’s so adaptable, it’s no wonder this weapon is used by the Albany County sheriff’s department.
